She'll be here overnight (the doctor's said if she felt great she could leave yet today, but I am guessing that will not be the case).
Dad went home to take a nap, so I'm relieving Andy of his post (he stayed here with her last night).
In a sidenote, I am hungry and don't really want to participate in Sloppy Joe Saturday at the cafeteria...I am horrified that they serve "Deep Fat Fried Chicken Fingers" here at a hospital. So wrong. I'll have to attack the salad bar again, methinks. :-)
Feel free to leave comments and I will pass them along to mom.
Wow I am out of town a day and I missed so much! Linda I hope you are feeling better after your surgery. I know how much you love Drs and hospitals, but hang in there. At least now you don't have to worry about having any more attacks.
ReplyDeleteI made it to FL at 1:30am today after a 3 1/2 hour delay last night. Mechanical problems (probably using used engine parts). Any way i made it out ahead of the storm. are you guys getting any snow?
Linda,
ReplyDeleteWell I'm off the "grid" for a couple of days and find out that all of this is going on in your lives. Val and I are both happy that you're doing better. Hopefully you can get back on your vomit free streak for awhile. Val had the same thing happen with her gall bladder incident. I read the posts by Sara out loud to Val and Steph and we really enjoyed the laughs. Thanks Sara for the pics of mom while she was out...We'll be in touch soon.
Love you,
Dean & Val
